3D Scanning Shoe Insoles for Oofos

In a unique fusion of technology and comfort, MYND Workshop embarked on a groundbreaking project in collaboration with Nice Shoes, focusing on the innovative Oofos shoe brand. Our mission was to meticulously capture the essence of Oofos' shoe insoles, renowned for their unparalleled comfort and support. Utilizing the advanced technique of photogrammetry, we achieved a detailed digital representation of the insoles, capturing every curve and contour with precision.

The process did not stop at scanning. To ensure the highest quality and performance of the digital models, our team undertook the meticulous task of retopologizing the meshes. This step was crucial for optimizing the digital insoles for various applications while preserving the intricate details captured during the scanning phase. We then reapplied the textures with care, developing Physically Based Rendering (PBR) texture maps to enhance the realism and authenticity of the models.
